Faith and superstition

Faith and superstition

There is a very subtle difference between faith and superstition and if that difference is not understood, it does not take long to convert faith into superstition.

It was raining heavily in one village. Started filling with lots of water. People were leaving the village after saving their lives. Nilesh, who lives in the village, had unwavering faith in God and was telling everyone, "There is no need to leave the village. By God's grace, either the rain will stop or there will be a way to escape". People would listen to him and go ahead without saying anything because they were also going unhappy that they had to run away leaving everything. Those who did not want to go sat on the roofs of the house and now it was so full of water that Nilesh also had to go to the roof of his house. He was confident that God himself would come to save him. When the water started filling up more, people started sitting in boats and the roof was filled with water, then Nilesh climbed the tree with it. People who knew him equally got out of the boat and asked Nilesh to come in the boat. But Nilesh refused. The water continued to rise and climbed the high branch of the Nilesh tree. In a short time, the rescue team's aircraft arrived and ropes were hung from them, which caught the people in the aeroplane. But Nilesh refused to hold the rope and said that I have full faith in my God, he will save me. But in a while, the water-filled up all around and Nilesh drowned in that water.

When he was brought before God, he shouted loudly that I believed in you so much but you did not help me during my trouble. I kept waiting for you but you did not come and lost my life. Then God said that I came to save you again and again but you did not believe me. I asked the villagers to leave you at the start of the rains. When the water was full, I sent the boat and when you did not take any step to save your life, I also hung the rope from the aeroplane which was caught You could have survived but your faith had turned into superstition due to which you did not make any effort to protect yourself.

This kind of thing also happens to us many times that instead of improving our own circumstances we expect another. It is not a bad thing to trust a particular person, but it is not right to think that everything will be fixed automatically due to trust. There is a lot to be done to fix everything. It is good to believe in God, but it should not be turned into superstition. God makes someone a medium to do your work.

God himself does not come down to do any work. One should not give up work in the faith of God but should work more diligently and diligently. With the belief that God will help and all will be well. Only the positivity of this belief will help in completing the work.

Be happy, be healthy, be busy, be cool.
